| We Love Our Fuzzy Friends! We are a dog friendly B&B. That said, you must take your dog with you when you leave the room. We have a large kennel down by the shore so that you can leave the dog safely behind while you are on or in our pond. If the dog barks and will disturb others, you will be asked to keep the dog with you. Should you take your dog to a public beach (not permitted April 1 through September), keep these rules in mind. Between October 1 and April 1st, dogs are usually permitted at the Beaches. They must be leashed at all times. You must be careful not to let them disturb people, nesting birds or stranded seals. The Endangered Species Act protects the piping plover and you are likely to be reported, caught and fined should your dog do this. Pooper-scooper bags are usually found at trail heads. Make sure to clean-up after your dog. Dog waste can contaminate sensitive shellfish beds. Cape Cod takes this very seriously. On our property, we ask you to do the same. If you don't have bags, just ask us. |
