Immortalized by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow in his world famous poem "Evangeline", the Evangeline oak has become a favorite place for lovers to visit. The Old Castillo B&B is located under the branches of this popular tree, in a nearly 200 year old building that was once a hotel for weary river travelers in the early 1800's.
