Introduction

The Wayfarer Bed & Breakfast<br>

Cave City (Mammoth Cave), Kentucky

Conveniently located on the boundary of Mammoth Cave National Park and just five miles from Cave City.

The Wayfarer Bed & Breakfast, formerly the Mammoth Cave Souvenier Shop, was built in 1933 and recently renovated to provide our guests with a relaxed down home atmosphere. In addition to its beautiful setting, guests may enjoy nearby hiking trails, a large lot for outdoor activities or just unwind on the spacious front porch.

Guest Room Each of our five guest rooms is comfortable, tastefully decorated and furnished with a combination of old and new. In the mornings, view the sunlight in the dining room with a hot cup of freshly brewed coffee while waiting for a truly Southern breakfast. If you like the pleasure of good conversation, TV viewing, playing cards and games or just propping your feet up, our living room will be the evening highlight.

Gift Shop The Wayfarer is not only a Bed & Breakfast, we also offer a Gift Shop and the Floyd Collins Museum. In January 1925, Floyd Collins was the first person to explore the Sand Cave and became trapped when a rock fell on his foot. The rescue attempt was widely publicized.
