The Merlot Room overlooks the north slope of the Eastern Vineyard and the full view of the Plantation Elm tree. This room's decor is reminiscent of the nineteenth century antebellum period with a private bath and porticoes from floor to ceiling.

intricate carvings of old world craftsmanship and adorned with a
Victorian comforter and pillows, perfect for a night of restful dreams.

The Beaujolais Suite...in the Slave Quarters Climb up the servants stairway as the manor's slave attendants did 150 years ago. You will enter the Beaujolais suite's separate den that has an overstuffed sofa and seating area. Nice 'n comfortable to relax in after your travels or just sip coffee there in the mornings. Although the slaves' rooms were very austere then, your accommodations will be warm and cozy with floral colored appointments and the beautiful Lillian Russell "spool" bed and dresser that's deep red cherry wood. There's a fireplace (not used) and mantel restored to give you that feeling of the history within these walls.

Walk into this sun filled den with a long overstuffed sofa that's perfect for naps. Bright, warm colors and a window view of the rolling farm land surrounding Springhill Plantation.
Here's a suite with a definite masculine flair with the traditional black "Roller Pin" bed, Tobacco Leaf drapes and an antique walnut dresser.
