This Victorian home has five fireplaces designed/built by Alexander Moore, master craftsman of My Old Kentucky Home. At the Red Rose Inn, we have tried to reflect a new image with the historic ambiance of a past era. Celebrate a romantic getaway for two, or make your special occasion plans with us. We will gladly make your reservations for the dinner train, dining, trolley or carriage ride, massage, or the health club. Call for fun, seasonal or holiday specials and for rates and additional information. We also offer Corporate Convenience with Internet and Fax for the traveling business person. |

Our 1820 historic home in beautiful Bardstown, Kentucky is located in the center of town 1½ blocks from the courthouse square, within easy walking distance to all area shopping and attractions. Come relax on our porch swing, or hammocks, or in the gardens. Take time to enjoy the hot tub/spa and bubble your cares away.
The Red Rose Inn was totally renovated in 1993 and updated to late Victorian style. From Stephen Foster in the yard smelling a rose to our stained glass and hand stenciling through the house, we have our guests' comfort in mind.

Our 4 guest suites all have private baths. Homemade cookies and beverages are available at all times in our common area, as well as TV, phone, fax, and computer hook-up. Our hot tub/spa is available 24 hours/7 days a week for our guests. Located in a secluded area of the garden for you to relax, unwind and leave your troubles behind! The Red Rose Inn has over 15 gardens, a koi pond and a fountain for your relaxation and enjoyment. Enjoy double pond and secret garden. Guests enjoy a sumptuous Country Gourmet Breakfast including homemade coffeecakes or fruit tarts, popovers or biscuits, an entrée such as ham crisps and sausage cups with eggs, fresh-fruit cup, orange juice, coffee or tea. Homemade cookies, snacks & soda pop are complimentary. In summer, enjoy the tranquility of breakfast served on the garden terrace. Breakfast is served outside, June to October. |
