Introduction
Stephen Foster, the Bard (songwriter) of Bardstown,
wrote the song "Ah, May the Red Rose Live Always!"
from which the Red Rose Inn took its name.
This Late Victorian Style Home, circa 1820, is on the National Register of Historic Places. A warm welcome awaits you at Red Rose Inn. Celebrate a Romantic Getaway for Two, or make your special occasion plans with us. We will gladly make your reservations for the Dinner Train, fine dining at a local restaurant, a Trolley Ride, a Carriage Ride, or use of Health Club facilities.
The home contains five fireplaces, some of which were built by Alexander Moore, master craftsman of My Old Kentucky Home. Relax on spacious grounds, surrounded by colorful flower gardens and Koi ponds. The Hot Tub/Spa is available year round.
Enjoy our sumptuous Country Gourmet Breakfast of fresh-fruit cup, homemade coffee cakes or fruit tarts, popovers, ham crisps and sausage cups with eggs. In summer, enjoy the tranquility of breakfast served on the garden terrace. As always, homemade cookies, and other snacks are available at all times.
Each of our four guest rooms has a private bath, king or queen size bed, 3 have fireplaces and all have Cable TV.
