| The Inn was featured in Southern Living (July 2003) in the "River of Fun" article as being a place for "Choosy travelers in search of gracious stays and true treasures." It was included in Midwest Living article about Springtime in Kentucky and featured in Kentucky Living as being the first and foremost favorite Kentucky B&B. It has been featured in Kentucky Monthly (said it was just like staying at Grandma's house). Back home in Kentucky, "A visit to another era" and numerous other publications both in Kentucky and nationwide. Many have written about the outstanding country breakfast and recipes. The house, outbuilding, and Stage Coach Stop across the street, have been featured in art exhibits by multiple artists. |
The name 'Raintree Inn" comes from the movie "Raintree County". This was one of the locations used in the movie staring Elizabeth Taylor and Montgomery Cliff. You will delight in the true country charm of this two-story home, which the owners have lovingly and tastefully decorated and furnished with mostly antique furnishings, some of which have been purchased. |

Each room in the main house, the carriage house or the barn, is individually decorated and provided with today's conveniences.
If you prefer a more rustic setting, one of the barns on the grounds has been developed into four spacious guest rooms (two are suites) each with a garden whirlpool tub and patio. You will find that each room, whether in the main house, carriage house or barn, offers beauty, tranquility and comfort. |

As a Bed & Breakfast, we provide a friendly alternative to hotels and motels, and your hostess will share knowledge of the area. The homestyle atmosphere includes a full breakfast each morning of your stay. In warm weather you may choose to dine outside on the patio.
