Barn Guest Rooms
When was the last time you slept in a barn with a tin roof? The barn rooms have become our most popular rooms.
People love to visit Kentucky and go home to tell their friends they slept in a barn. This barn is unique and a bit different from any other barn you may have seen.
Duck Room
Horse Stable Room
The Barn, an old fashioned feed barn with a tobacco shed and tobacco stripping room, has been converted to four bedrooms (two are suites) - The Horse Stall, Duck Room, Cow Parlor Suite and the Stripping Suite .
Each bedroom has a private bath with a garden whirl pool tub, a television and patio. Rustic, but very comfortable. Everyone finds them to be fun.
Stripping Suite
Cow Parlor Suite
The property also includes a structure fast disappearing from the Kentucky horizon - a tobacco curing barn. It is a fine example of housing for an activity that has existed in Kentucky for approximately 200 years.
Directly across the street stands a remnant of an 1800's mode of transportation - a stagecoach way station. The stagecoach that stopped here still exists. For awhile it was in John Lair's Renfro Valley Museum, but eventually found its way to the lobby of a Wells Fargo Bank in California, where it has been restored to its former glory. Small world!
