Paris, Kentucky is in the county seat of Bourbon County. A Paris bed and breakfast is a great place to start your visit, after which you can see the Nannine Clay Wallis Arboretum, a four acre arboretum at 616 Pleasant Street, which is home to the Garden Club of Kentucky. Also, at 800 Pleasant Street you can see the Hopewell Museum, which is open to the public and free Wednesday through Saturday afternoons, but is closed in the month of January. Spend the night in a Paris inn, and then discover a great example of Victorian architecture and interior design at the Vardens Building. And on the corner of Main and 8th Streets sits the Shinner Building, listed in Ripley's Believe It or Not as the world's tallest three story structure. Get a bite to eat at Varden's, a wonderful place for some fun, good food and hospitality. Stay another night in a B&B, then you can experience the Great Wall Chinese Restaurant, where the buffet is always fresh!
