Morning Glory Bed and Breakfast

Guests find this comfy and lovingly restored 19th century Italianate row house welcoming with its bright and inviting rooms. Every morning, the owner serves up a healthy vegetarian or vegan breakfast. Visitors also enjoy the local artwork featured throughout the house. If you want to be able to wander around a hip, historic part of town and bustle around a big city, you've got it made at the Morning Glory Bed & Breakfast.

Art is at the heart of the Morning Glory Bed & Breakfast. Located in Covington's designated arts districts attracting working artists, the Morning Glory B&B is a part of the art scene. Each month, a different artist is featured in the two main rooms downstairs. You might even want to purchase a piece of art that strikes your fancy. The public is invited to mingle with the artist at an opening reception held from 6-10 p.m. the first Friday of each month in conjunction with the area's 1st Friday Gallery Hop. Nearby galleries and businesses participate in this monthly event showing off the area's vast array of artistic abilities. Make an evening of it. Have dinner in nearby MainStrasse and check out the art here and in nearby galleries and businesses.

The two rooms share a bath with a restored antique claw foot tub. Add some mineral salts or bubble bath for a nice relaxing soak. A shower has been added for those who prefer the convenience of a quick shower in the morning. Cozy bathrobes, oversize bath towels, and extra toiletries are on hand to make your bathing experience especially nice.

Games, books and other reading material make the parlor a nice place to unwind. Be sure to check out the local art while you're here. • Room rates are $95 - $115 + tax nightly for single or double occupancy. (Rates are subject to change)
• There is a Twenty ($20) dollar charge for each additional guest.
• Children ages six and under, who are accompanied by an adult, stay at no additional cost.

• Corporate rates available. Long term stays are welcome - (Ask for weekly and monthly rates).
• Rates are subject to a 4% convention & visitors bureau tax, 1% Kentucky Tourism room tax, and 6% Kentucky sales tax.
• A deposit of one night's lodging is necessary for reservations of one or two nights. For longer stays, a 50% deposit is required. The deposit is due within 7 days of making a reservation with the balance due upon arrival.
• Cancellation Policy: If your plans change and you must cancel your reservation, we require that you notify us by 6 p.m. at least 7 days prior to arrival for an immediate and complete refund. For special events and holidays a 30 day cancellation policy is in effect. On shorter notice, deposits are refunded only if the room is rented. Early departures will be handled in the same manner.
