Introduction

Located in the heart of the Historic District, you’ll enjoy your stay in a home rich in the history of Frankfort’s political forefathers.

Relax in the front parlor, the library (both with working fireplaces), or one of the tastefully decorated bedrooms, with original fireplaces. Enjoy dining in the room where the sister of S.I.M. Major Jr. hid her prized race horse so that the confederates wouldn’t confiscate it during the Civil War. Or, sip cool lemonade on the second floor veranda while learning about the history and folklore of this charming 160-year-old home. The innkeepers, Gary and Rose Burke, are always eager to share the history of The Meeting House.

Guest Rooms
Each of the four guest rooms is named for one of the home's former owners and features full or queen beds, wood floor or carpeting, and fireplaces. All rooms include cable television, internet access and private baths.
  • $115 and $125 (based on double occupancy; multiple day discounts are available)
  • $15 fee for each additional person
  • We accept Cash, Check, Visa, and Master Card

The Meeting House Cafe
We tempt our guests with wonderful homemade:
