Policies
Rates based on Double Occupancy: Children between the ages of 5-12 are welcome with advance notice - $12.50/child/night. Additional persons, age 12 and above, add $25/person/night.
Rollaway Bed: Set-up Fee - $20
Smoking: NOT allowed INSIDE, smoking allowed OUTSIDE only.
Candles: Prohibited - Sorry, but our fire alarms are very sensitive, our insurance prohibits candle use, and you pay for clean-up and wax or fire damages.
Pet Policy: $25/night/pet - Advance Notice is required. Click here for our Pet Policy.
Consumption of alcohol is permitted - you are welcome to bring your own or we may provide.
Accepted Payment Methods: Cash, Debit Cards, Discover, MasterCard, Visa, Amex, Personal Checks (subject to a $30 return check fee), Traveler's Checks, and Gift Certificates.
Deposit Required: Small inns are greatly affected by cancellations. Others are turned away when you agree to rent a room or rooms. Thus we have established a fair payment policy: 50% of rental (minimum 1-night charge) is due by cash, check, money order, traveler's check, or credit/debit card when your reservation is made. The balance is due at the end of your stay or rental agreement. You are responsible for the entire amount of your rental agreement. All payments are guaranteed by a valid Credit or Debit Card.
Rates & Taxes: Subject to a 6% state and 1% Transient Lodging Tax. We have NO city, county, or tourism taxes. Prices may vary from other website quotes not updated and from quotes involving holidays or festival weekends as we do not discount for holiday or festival periods. Gift Certificates are valid for one year for the amount of purchase (After a year any price/rate increase will be added).
Minimum/Maximum Stay: No minimum stay required. 14 Day Maximum.
Check-In/Check-Out Time: Check-In is between 4:00pm -10:00pm EDT and Check-Out is by 12:00noon. Early arrivals will be assessed a $50 fee for urgent and extra House Keeping preparations related to unexpected arrivals. Early arrivals must be pre-arranged and agreeable by the Innkeeper. Please no early drop-off of bags or in-room items. Drive-bys are permissible, but not for tours/history of the home, use of bathrooms, or other reasons for unexpected arrivals. Late Arrivals after 10:00pm require advance notification and Key Arrangements to be provided. Please, no calls or unexpected arrivals after 12midnight, out of respect and courtesy of other house guests.
Cancellation Policy: Refunds only apply if you cancel 14 or more days prior to your scheduled arrival date or if your room rental date(s) are re-rented. If you are part of a group rental, a 30-day advance notice is required. A $30 per room cancellation fee applies. The fee may be waived at our discretion if you accept a 100% refund by a Maple Hill Manor Gift Certificate. Gift Certificates are valid for 1 year and subject to availability and the same policies as any other payment. No refund or certificate applies if you do not show for a rental, depart early during your stay, or if you cancel a second time.
Trip Cancellation Plan AVAILABLE - request when making reservation: If you have to cancel up to 3pm EST the day of your arrival, you get a FULL REFUND of your DEPOSIT. The cost of the plan is only 10% of your reserved room rate. Pre-payment of the full value of your reservation is required in advance for this plan using a Credit or Debit Card.
