Louisville is located in north-central Kentucky on the Kentucky-Indiana border. Most notably, Kentucky hosts the annual Kentucky Derby, a horse race which follows a two-week long Kentucky Derby Festival. The Thunder Over Louisville is the largest annual fireworks display in the US. The Louisville bed and breakfast is a great B&B to check out with the Louisville inn being a great place also. There are too many museums in Louisville to list. You might want to check out the Falls of the Ohio State Park which covers natural history and features fossils found in nearby Devonian fossil beds. Louisville is home to 122 city parks including the Louisville Waterfront Park, which is located down and features concerts and festivals. If you cannot decide where to dine, then be sure not to miss the Annual Taste of Louisville festival, where you will have a chance to taste the fare offered by many local restaurants. 610 Magnolia is a great steakhouse located conveniently and will satiate even the most hungry of patrons.
