2 cups sliced peaches (if using canned, drain before using)
TOPPING Preheat oven to 325 degrees Pace peach slices in bottom of 9" baking dish. Sprinkle lightly with sugar. Cream together 3/4 cup sugar with 4 Tbs. butter. Add alternately the dry ingredients & milk & spread over peaches. Cover this with topping made of cornstarch, salt & sugar. Pour 1 cup boiling water over all this. Bake 50 minutes. This is delicious served warm topped with ice cream.
