HOMEPLACE Guest House - Wilmore, Kentucky

Welcome to the HOMEPLACE Guest House, a renovated 19th c. farmhouse located in Wilmore, Kentucky located just south of Lexington in the heart of the bluegrass. Step back and imagine yourself living in a simpler, more gracious time! Think of open-door hospitality, and a casual, come-as-you-are atmosphere.

We're within walking distance to Asbury College and Seminary. The living history village of Shakertown is a few minutes' drive away and our central Kentucky location will provide easy access to most of our state's culture, heritage and beauty!

Rest a while, play a board game or choose a book from our extensive home library. During the winter you will always find a cozy fire in our Great Room! We serve a delicious country breakfast. Organic wholegrain pancakes topped with fresh fruit in season from our garden is one of our favorites! The view through the French doors takes in the barn, the garden and the fields that lead up to the reservoir and the Asbury College walking trails. During the summer, you can take your breakfast on the picnic table that sits on our large deck.

Our guestrooms are appointed with simplicity in mind.
Both rooms share a large bathroom that has a shower and Jacuzzi.

Policies

Rates are for single or double occupancy plus a full country breakfast.
Check-in 4 PM and Check-out 11 AM: Arrangements for early check-in and later check-out available upon request.
Deposit of one night's stay will hold your reservation.
Checks & cash only until further notice.
Smoking is limited to porches & outdoors.

Directions From Lexington

Follow Highway 68 south toward Wilmore - about 14 miles.
Just before Wilmore, when you come to the "Y" in the road where Highway 68 and Highway 29 separate, stay to the left on Highway 29.
As you enter Wilmore, Highway 29 becomes Lexington Avenue.
The HOMEPLACE Guest House is located on the far side of town.
Go through both of Wilmore's traffic lights, then past Linden Street.
The Homeplace Guest House is the 4th home on the right past Linden.
Look for our sign and the old barn with the American Flag.
