Introduction

Situated in the heart of the Bluegrass State, The Hill House is a full service Bed & Breakfast. Completely re-modeled in 2000, we have four individually appointed guest rooms with private bathrooms, a formal dining room, parlor, and private patio area where you'll be able to relax, kick your shoes off, and feel right at home.

Located just minutes from Maker's Mark Distillery, the Loretto Mother-House, and My Old Kentucky Home in historic Bardstown, The Hill House is the ideal place to stay when you're passing through, or to plan your next outing.

For Your Special Occasions

The Hill House also offers expanded dining facilities to handle groups of up to 70 people for those special occasions such as rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, bridal/baby showers, and family re-unions. Food service is provided by Valinda's Catering, voted "Best Caterer of the Year in Marion County" in 2004 and 2005.

On the first floor, you'll find a large guest room with a private bath featuring a whirlpool tub and dual shower-heads. The parlor has a piano, stereo, fireplace, TV and sitting area. The formal dining room is perfect for a quaint meal, and the large, bright Event Room is ideal for larger group gatherings. The second floor has 3 guest rooms, each with its own full-size bath.

Rates and Policies
  • Rates range from $95 - $105 per night.
  • We accept Visa and MasterCard.
  • Cancellation requires a 14-day notice. Cancellation within this time parameter will result in a charge equal to your stay - unless the room is re-booked.
  • Room rate discounts may be available for multiple night and multiple room reservations.
  • Special room rates apply for stays during certain holidays and events.
  • Room rates include a full breakfast.
  • Smoking is NOT permitted in The Hill House building.
  • Children, age 16 and older, are welcome.
  • No Pets.
