“We really appreciated your wonderful hospitality. This was our first experience with a bed and breakfast and it was great! Loved the house and all the little critters! Thanks for making our lives a little richer…”

“Thank you for allowing me to experience my first TRUE horseback ride! I have had a blast from the moment I stepped out of the car and met Fluffy’s big wet nose!...”

We “have always said that God directed us to our B&Bs for some reason. We can see why here! The 3 of you and your farm have been a God Send to all of us who have known you for years or just one night. I probably gained 20 lbs. by eating breakfast, but we loved all the great new tastes and generous portions. The pond was awesome; horses were great, cats & dog were great companions. We have to go back to reality, but now I feel we have a small bit of home in Ky….”

“City life will never be the same. When the city becomes overwhelming, stressful or just plain ugly, we now have our Country Home to come to. What a wonderful day, night and experience. We love ALL your critters and envy your life…”

“Thanks for the wonderful food, lodging and company. The dog & the omelet were equally Fluffy!”

“What a delightful time we had sharing your B&B here at First Farm Inn! I shall always remember being greeted by Jen on horseback... Your food was marvelous and my first floor bedroom divine! Enjoyed chatting with you and (my friends) surely gleaned much good information from your willingness to share and help new B&B operators….”

“Thank you for a wonderful first B&B experience. Your friendliness & kindness immediately eased our initial apprehension. Trying so many new foods (rosti, Applewood, cranberry bread, etc.) was a pleasant surprise. What a great, relaxing weekend of new experiences! Hopefully, we’ll be back to ride the horses soon!”

“Home is where you are happy and there are all the little comforts you can have. When I arrived I said to myself, “I am home.” I knew it. Southern hospitality is alive and well here. The ladies that did the decorating are geniuses. I’ve never stayed in such a gorgeous place. All the charm & beauty and security of home. Such a kind and sweet family. Everywhere are nice surprises. All the little things that count I found here. Time disappears. I had such a wonderful time. I found it hard to sleep because I was busy marveling at the quaintness and peacefulness of this place. I had to admire everything. ‘A Spoonful of Sugar’ (played by the sugar bowl full of candy in one room) That is the best kind of compliment I ever received from any overnight accommodations. I will never forget that music box. Thank you! I was given everything! P.S. The energy in this place, this home, is happy and loving and it makes everything around here thriving and vigorous. Look at all the happy, fat animals.”

“Thank you so much! The pasta carbonara was great as was the hot tub and the hospitality. Thanks for helping us out with the ski slopes we will ski at Perfect North again. The cats & Fluffy are wonderful too.”

“To just say ‘Thank you!’ seems so insufficient for all you’ve done. I was looking for something different and happily found it here. There’s so much to do or to choose to do nothing at all is so appealing. Also, to be able to keep two 15-year-old girls entertained is impressive in itself. I know we’ve made another lasting memory! After our first day, the girls talked about going back ‘home’ when we were out. Your great hospitality appeals to all ages. So thanks so much for everything.”

“We had a great time as usual. Highlights of this stay: the tetherball tournament with Tatiana, the cool ride through the woods…The food was fabulous, the animals very sweet and calming & relaxing and you guys made us feel like part of the family. Thank you for being the wonderful hosts that you are.”

“Thanks for making out 16th anniversary wonderful. We had a great time riding even though it was freezing cold. Thanks so much for making food that was within my diet. I really appreciated that. We really enjoyed the company of the other guests as well."
April 2002 Monroe, OH

“Thank you so much for the most relaxing stay. The house is warm and welcoming and the breakfast was delectable. The night ride in the snow under the moon and stars was great! And there was no better was to finish our relaxing stay and with the massage….”

“Thank you SO much for the most wonderful getaway! Who knew traveling solo could be such a joy! I can’t believe how quickly the time went. I don’t want to leave!!! …For traveling alone, I certainly never was!! Thank you for making me feel so at home & part of the family. The horseback rides were a blast and you couldn’t have picked a better horse than Sam!! He was a riot and talk about SMOOTH!! And every day here ended on such a great note…the HOT TUB!! What a great view of a beautiful starry sky!! Starting my day in the hammock was quite a treat too. And last, but certainly NOT least…the FOOD!! …I haven’t had breakfasts like this in years. First Farm Inn beats a five-star hotel any day!! I came here to get some much needed R&R and I got more than I could have hoped for!!...”

“Thank you for a peaceful, quiet break away after our wedding. Since we knew we couldn’t take a honeymoon until the summer, it was important for us to have some place to retreat (our house is full of relatives!) and your B&B is just what we needed. We hope to come back many times in the future to recharge and rejuvenate ourselves. You were all so kind and accommodating and the breakfasts were incredible too. This was the first time in several months that we have actually slept through the night… and that, to us, was priceless…Oh, yes, Everyone should experience the massages…if I could have just ended up in the hot tub…”
March 2003 Walton, KY

“We enjoyed ourselves immensely! Of course the food and house are superb, but what made our stay even better was your hospitality, your kindnesses and your sincerity. We so enjoyed the land and the horses. Your love for these majestic animals is contagious. Thank you for the the riding lesson and for sharing with us your understanding of these beautiful creatures. We have explored several B&Bs in the Midwest and this was, by far, our best experience! Well done!”

“…even with the damp weather your home was like a postcard ‘picture perfect.’”

“I surprised my girlfriend with this trip to First Farm Inn it marks our first trip together. What a wonderful time we had here on the farm, and what nice memories we get to take with us as we leave.”

“ ‘Those who bring sunshine to others cannot keep it from themselves,’ James Barrie --“Thank you for bringing sunshine into our lives during our stay here!”
Nov. 2002

“We backed into this delightful weekend quite unexpectedly when our friends couldn’t keep their reservations. We owe them big time now! We couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more. The kids enjoyed playing with Tatiana and the cats, horses & Fluffy. We enjoyed taking in the country ambience that so easily escapes our minds in the city. We truly were relaxed and stress free for 48 hours. Thanks for the B&B tips and advice. We’ll have you all come and test our accommodations before we open.”
