Located in the downtown historic district of Bardstown, KY, the Colonel's Cottage Inn - Pioneer Park is an inn for the upscale traveler. The residence was built in 1850 and is in the Federalist style of cottage architecture. The high ceilings and their elegant broad crown moldings are spectacular. The cottage is furnished in Kentucky antiques and furniture reflecting the period prior to the War Between The States. It is a private, unhosted romantic getaway perfect for a honeymoon or anniversary stay. All of the rooms in the cottage are exquisitely decorated. The Master Bedroom has a queen-size four poster bed, and the other bedroom has two antique iron twin beds.
