Stable Operations and Horseback Riding
Riding package:
Bring your own horses or choose from one of ours. During your two-hour horsemanship experience, you'll learn grooming basics and help tack up. We help you mount and fit the saddle to you before heading to the riding arena where we work on becoming the horse's leader and friend. Then we’ll take a trail ride (weather permitting) and enjoy the many sights and sounds one can experience on Shamrock Hills Farms scenic 400 acres. The experience ends with removing tack, feeding treats and grooming.
Please do not ask to ride if you weigh over 225 pounds or if you are not physically fit enough to get up on a horse.
Dress for the weather and expect to get dusty and smell like horses. Wear straight-legged jeans and hard-soled shoes (but not cleated hiking boots). Even the quietest horses can be unpredictable.
By coming to the farm, you accept responsibility and all liability for your experience on the ground or riding.
Rates:
2-3 hour riding package: $45 per person; Limit of three riders per session.

Out Door Riding Arena Stable Rules:
Fax or bring a PA-required current negative Coggins certificate for each horse.
Riders must wear approved helmets and appropriate riding boots.
Guests service their own horses (grain, hay, bedding and buckets).
We provide water.
Absolutely NO SMOKING in or around the barns.
