Following the Wilderness Trail blazed by Daniel Boone, a group of colonists led by James Harrod made their way through Kentucky, where they established fort Harrod - the first settlement west of the Alleghenies. This rustic room with queen size log canopy bed and hand stitched, appliqued quilt takes one back to another era. The oversized two-person whirlpool tub is tucked into a niche, and the surrounding log walls are graced by old fashioned lanterns.
