Shortridge House Bed & Breakfast was built in 1871 by James Edward Shortridge. This fully restored home is located in the heart of downtown Manhattan. Guests will enjoy the warm and friendly atmosphere of this historic house, furnished with antiques. We are close to Kansas State University, shopping and downtown businesses and ten minutes from Konza Prairie and hiking in the beautiful Flint Hills. In-room television, Internet and phone, and a large bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub will make your stay convenient and comfortable. A full breakfast is served in the formal dining room or the balcony, weather permitting.

Directions: Take Interstate 70 to Highway 177 North to Manhattan. Follow the signs to Downtown Manhattan. The first four-way stop marks 4th St. and Pierre St. Continue through the stop along Pierre St. two more blocks to 6th St. The Shortridge House is on the corner of Pierre and 6th street. Parking is available in the back of the house and on either side of 6th St.
