Lawrence is the sixth largest city in Kansas and the county seat of Douglas County. The Wakarusa Music and Camping Festival is a four-day-long music festival that will give you an experience you won't forget. Also, each May the city hosts the "Art in the Park" festival in South Park, a uniquely designed greenspace in downtown Lawrence.
