Kansas Keepsakes Retreat

Kansas Keepsakes Retreat, Inc. is open for scrapbooking guests, 50 weekends a year with the exception of Easter weekend and the weekend closest to Christmas. One week in each month we will have a midweek retreat, Monday through Wednesday, as we realize that some people are unable to come during the weekend for one reason or another.

Hostesses will be here at all times to cater to your every need and to insure that you have a great time. We will not be intrusive but will check in from time to time to see if you need anything or to bring you more snacks.

Midweek retreats work the same as the weekends. You can arrive at 1 p.m. on Monday. Departure is 1 p.m. on Wednesday. All meals will be on the same schedule - the only schedule you have while you are here.

It has over 1100 square feet and is open for your use from the time of your arrival until departure. It is located in a separate building only two steps from the back deck so you can pound grommets and laugh all night long without waking anyone, or if you choose to retire early you will not be wakened by the obsessed scrapbookers who do not quit.

We have a small store in our cropping room should you run out of something or decide that you need to add a few more embellishments. We have adhesives, papers, markers, brads, flowers, ribbons, buttons, and more embellishments. Enough to make sure that you will not run out of the basic necessities plus a little more. We do not want you to go home with uncompleted projects.

• We charge $275 for a weekend at Kansas Keepsakes Retreat, Inc. You will need to send a $75 non-refundable deposit with your completed reservation form in order to hold your preferred weekend. Sorry, we cannot hold a reservation without a deposit. The balance of your weekend is due 30 days before your scheduled stay. The midweek retreat price and policies are the same as for the weekends.
• We accept Visa, Master Card, money orders, cashier's checks, personal checks. A $30 fee will be charged for returned checks.
• Confirmation will be emailed to you when we get your registration and deposit. If you do not have email, your confirmation will be mailed.
• We will try to honor refund requests until 30 days prior to your weekend minus the $75 non-refundable deposit. No refunds will be given within 30 days of your weekend unless we are able to fill your spot. At that time, your money will be refunded minus the $75 non-refundable deposit. If you must cancel, you will have the option to transfer to another available weekend.
• Gift certificates can be purchased in any amount from a few dollars up to the all inclusive week-end package.
• If you are on a special diet please call or email us for information about our menu and we will work with you as much as possible to meet your needs.
• We have ample off-street parking for a number of vehicles. I do not see that parking would ever be a problem for you.
• We do have smoking areas outside the house where you can sit on the front porch or under the shade trees on the large back deck.
• We are conveniently located approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from the Mid Continent Airport in Wichita, Kansas; 4 hours from KCI in Kansas City, Missouri. Both are easy, pleasant drives.
