Now for some tips to make your specials stand out -- and bring you more guests:
- Title and Short Description (1 & 2)
These two items are the most important, because they appear on your BBOnline Introduction page in the Specials Preview box, in every appropriate Special Packages list on BBOnline (circled in red below), and sometimes even in search engine results. Choose a catchy Title, and make the Short Description irresistible but brief -- no more than 120 characters, including spaces. Use the Count Characters button to make sure your enticing description won't get cut off in mid-sentence.
- Dates (3 & 4)
If your special is offered for a limited time, list the start and end dates accurately; the special will be displayed beginning when you save it, and it disappears automatically on expiration. If you want the special to display always, check the appropriate box (4).
- Description (5)
Avoid using all capital letters and exclamation points BECAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE SHOUTING!!! Double check spelling and grammar, too. The description should be informative, compelling and brief, with enough specifics to inspire a call from a prospective guest.
- Type of Special (6)
You'll get the best response by choosing the category that most accurately describes your special package.
- When you're finished, don't forget to click Save (7)
