We're receiving more (and mostly good) news about our member innkeepers who live in and near the paths of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. There's still a lot of days from now until the November 30 end of hurricane season, so don't uncross your fingers yet, and do keep the thousands of victims of the storms in your thoughts and prayers . . .

| Hurricane Status Update |
|
Last month we offered the comments of several innkeepers in the hurricane zones. More updates and reports are arriving; we post them as soon as they come in.
We are deeply saddened to report that innkeeper Tony Brugger of Harbour Oaks Inn - Pass Christian, MS lost his life in Hurricane Katrina. Tony's wife, Diane, sent us this account of what happened in the storm. We offer our condolences to Diane, and all of Tony's friends and family.
