All our hearts were pierced by the tragedies of Tuesday, September
11. Our memories will forever be imprinted with the sights and sounds
of that dreadful day.

We have postponed email distribution of this month's edition of the

the much-anticipated 3 Million Visitors milestone. The home page
visit counter zoomed past 2,999,999 on the very exciting afternoon
of August 21, at a minute after 4 PM, CDT, bringing to a close our
3 Millionth Visitor Sweepstakes.

Within minutes, we sent e-mail messages to the 124 people whose
qualifying entries included August 21. Next, we drew the names
of the cash winners from this group, leaving just one question
unanswered:

** THIRD PRIZE went to Andrea Mikus, of Winchester, Virginia. Andrea
   wins $300.00

** SECOND PRIZE was awarded to Amanda Hobbs, of Nashville Tennessee.
   Amanda wins $300.00

** The GRAND PRIZE WINNER is Harry Thompson of Evansville, Indiana.
   Harry is the lucky winner of $3,000.00 from Bed & Breakfast Inns

We're pleased to announce the winner of our July-August 2001 contest,
sponsored by the Byrn-Roberts Inn - Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

We received 2006 completed entries for the contest. The answer to the
tiebreaker is 41,500 pounds of river rock. Since no one got the exact
amount, we chose the closest guess, which was 41,019 pounds of rock.
The author of that winning guess, and the winner of our July-August
contest, is Doty M. of Springdale, Arkansas. Doty wins a gift
certificate for two nights' lodging for two at the Byrn-Roberts Inn.
Congratulations to Doty, and a big 'Thank You' to all who entered.

The September contest is sponsored by Rachel's Bed & Breakfast
in Annapolis, Missouri. Rachel's is off the beaten path in the
southeast corner of the state, but owner and innkeeper Sharon Cluck
