Columbus, Indiana Bed and Breakfast: Wehmeier Homestead is located just 2 miles southeast of Columbus on a 40 acre grain farm. The 2-story red brick home was built around 1865 by Karl Hendrick Wehmeier who immigrated to the US from Gofeld Germany in 1861. The homestead has remained in the family since that time. Karl's great granddaughter, Dorothy Wehmeier Arnholt and husband Floyd restored the house in 1978.

Policies...
  • Rates are per room single or double occupancy.
  • Rates do not include tax and are subject to change.
  • A third person is an additional $10 per night.
  • Wehmeier Homestead Bed & Breakfast is a non-smoking facility.
  • We do not accommodate pets, but there is a boarding kennel just two houses east of our B&B.
  • A minimum deposit of one night's fee is required.
  • The deposit is secured with a credit card or send check payable to: Wehmeier Homestead LLC.
  • Balance payable on arrival.
  • Cancellation notification prior to fourteen days, deposit will be refunded with a 10% handling fee.
  • Cancellations after this deadline the deposit will be forfeited.
  • Check-in: 4:00 pm to 6:00pm.
  • Check-out: 11:00 am.
  • Please call for special arrangements.
