• People Trails - Wander the People Trail of Columbus or stroll through the woodlands of Brown County State park near Nashville, IN.
• Winter Fun - Try tubing on the slopes just west of nearby Nashville, IN, or ice-skating at Hamilton Center in Columbus.
• Canoeing - Spend a summer afternoon drifting down the Driftwood river in a canoe from Blue's Canoe Livery.
• Outlet Malls and antique shops - Two outlet malls and numerous antique shops will engage your passion for adding to your homestead's treasures.
• Museums - Local and nearby museums on history and art are sure to please cultural interests.
• Nashville, IN - This quaint village is located just 20 miles west of Columbus on Ind. St Rd 46 and is described as "The Art Colony of the Midwest."
• Vernon, Indiana - Just a short distance south you will find Vernon, IN. The entire town is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Muscatatuck River nearly surrounds the town making it the smallest county seat in Indiana.
• Seymour, IN - Nearby and south of our B&B it is the town where John Mellencamp grew up and whose songs paint many descriptive images of small towns like Seymour.
