Just a short drive away, is the historic river city of Madison, Indiana. It's only a 35-mile drive to historic Spring Mill State Park and the Gus Grisson Memorial in Mitchell, Indiana. The Caeser's Riverboat Casino in Harrison County is only about a 40-minute drive.

Introduction

The Cottage at West Point - Salem, Indiana The Cottage at West Point is a restored 1800's farmhouse located on a beautiful farm in southern Indiana. The Cottage offers guests the opportunity to remove themselves from the chaos of an ever-changing world, whether it be for a night, a weekend, a week, or even longer. Unlike a traditional bed and breakfast, The Cottage is a complete, furnished home that is not connected with the main farmhouse. Guests will find themselves wrapped up in a beautiful, private home away from home.

The Cottage is a two-story farmhouse with three spacious bedrooms and two full baths. All three bedrooms have personal access to a porch where you can eat, socialize, or simply relax. We have one king size bed, one queen size bed, one double bed, and two small hide-a-beds available. The top and bottom floors have separate entrances and can be rented individually, or The Cottage can be rented in its entirety.

porch The first floor features a full kitchen and the Grand Room, which is a perfect place to visit with friends and family or meet with business associates. On the second floor, a common room complete with a kitchenette awaits our guests. A homemade country breakfast is served each morning according to your schedule, and complimentary snacks and beverages are provided during the day.

A personal favorite of many visitors is the wrap-around porch on the first floor. The second floor also features a front and back porch. We are sure that our guests will find that the porches are excellent places for relaxing, eating and socializing.

  • Delaney Creek Park - A county-owned facility featuring fishing, boating, relaxing, swimming and hiking. There is an entrance to the famous Knobstone Trail and even a beautiful restaurant.

  • Spurgeon Hollow Lake - Located in Washington County offering a beautiful setting for a picnic, fishing or hiking.
