This Italian/Queen Anne Renaissance home was built in 1899. It has been renovated into a special place for you to enjoy. It features hand painted ceilings, stained glass windows, and magnificent inlaid & carved woodwork. It can accommodate up to 14 guests in four rooms that are completely furnished with antique furniture of the era. Each room has a private bath and air-conditioning with individual room control. There are many sitting rooms to enjoy, including a Music Room complete with player piano and many musical instruments available to the guests. A complete breakfast is served in the mornings including the world famous O&H Danish Kringle from Wisconsin.

The house has continued to be renovated and remodeled to further enhance the property, in keeping with the era and comfortability of guests. The home is located on the edge of Ligonier's downtown business area and is included in the Architectural Tour which contains the grandest collections of Victorian architecture to be seen. A large portion of the city was nominated to the National Register of Historic Places. The Solomon Mier Manor is just one of the examples of the area's outstanding architecture.
