Jasper is a city in Dubois County, and is home to many worthwhile B&B establishments. The Jasper Strassenfest is a four day event held annually during the first weekend in August incorporates a golf tournament, beauty pageant (Miss Strassenfest), fishing tournament, and a network of German "Polka Masses" at the three Catholic parishes. The Dubois County 4-H Fair is held in the town with projects, livestock, food and rides. If you are planning on attending one of these rustic community events and desire local accommodations, you should consider staying at a Jasper bed and breakfast or a Jasper inn.
