Guest Rooms/Rates

All rooms have private baths, TV/VCR/DVD and cable. Enjoy complimentary snacks, sodas and WI-FI. We have a large movie selection. Each room is restored to the Ante-Bellum period and has ornate crown mouldings around the ceilings.

Each Guest Room is named for a very famous person living and active in 1850. We give you the opportunity to relive history. The following accommodations are available for your enjoyment.

Stephen Foster Suite
Foster was America's great songwriter. His suite boasts many features original to the 1850 structure such as hardwood floors, fireplace, brass chandelier, and hand carved crown molding. The suite has two Tv's,a large marble Jacuzzi, marble columns, stained glass windows, mirrored ceiling and a King size wrought-iron canopy bed. Watch a movie while relaxing in the Jacuzzi or listen to your favorite CD while nestling by the fire.

Charles Spurgeon Suite
Spurgeon was one of the greatest evangelist and orators in history. His suite is lavishly furnished with two TVĒs, a marble Jacuzzi with six -eight foot high marble columns, mirrored ceilings, three stained glass windows and a hand carved queen-size cherry bed with lace canopy. Enjoy the view from the beautiful bay window overlooking Historic Mansion Row.

Abraham Lincoln Suite
His suite has a large white marble Jacuzzi with 8-ft high marble columns and a queen-size cherry bed with lace canopy. Features an outside balcony where you can hear the soothing sound of running water in the fishpond and waterfall below.

Ralph Waldo Emerson Suite
Full kitchen, laundry room sitting area with love seat and large Jacuzzi with skylights above.

Florence Nightingale Suite
Sue Green owned and lived in the mansion for some 40 years. and was a great niece of Florence Nightingale. A hand-carved queen size cherry rice bed with lace canopy adorns her suite. White marble Jaccuzi and beautiful fireplace mantle provide wonderful accents.

Robert E. Lee Suite
Room features tray ceiling, anaglipta imported from England, 3 full length windows with original wood shutters. A hand-carved queen-size cherry Rice bed with canopy completes the room.

  • A full country breakfast is served at 9:30 a.m. on weekends. A "Continental plus" breakfast may includes a variety of the following: various fresh-baked pastries, English Muffins, Bagels,French Toast, Coffee, flavored creamers,teas, milk, hot chocolate, sodas and assorted juices are always available for breakfast.
  • Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. or later; check-out time is 11:00 E.S.T. . If you need a later or earlier check in or check out, just ask, we can usually accommodate with notice.
  • Due to the beauty of the Mansion and its Historical Register distinction, smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the building, We do have designated outdoor areas( Lincoln balcony, rear deck, front porch,etc) where you can smoke.
  • We accept MasterCard, VISA, Discover.
  • Cancellation policy:
    • 10 days prior for a Friday or Saturday stay, 48 hours for Sunday thru Thursday, 20 minimum charge applies to all cancellations. Some dates, Special Events and all wedding deposits are non refundable at the time of booking.
