On "Mansion Row" you will find stately old mansions built and occupied by river boat captains, wealthy merchants and prominent businessmen . In 1850 New Albany was the largest city in Indiana and is steeped in tradition.
The recreation offered by New Albany won't disappoint you. We are 20 minutes or less to over a hundred restaurants, 11 golf courses, 3 wineries, 3 movie theaters, Churchhill Downs numerous antique stores and other shopping. Just three doors west, you can tour the Culbertson Mansion and marvel at its restored grandeur. We are only nine miles from Horseshoe Casino.
