Introduction

Spend your evening in the soft quiet light along the White River in an eclectic 1940's Arts and Crafts English style cottage. There is a separate entrance, small private kitchen, bath and large bedroom with queen size bed covered by a great down comforter. Cable TV with DVD/VCR. Wireless internet (Airport Express) is provided for our guests. Watch the blue heron settle on the dock and gaze at the river life. Pileated woodpeckers, beaver, red fox, deer, chipmunks, and 12 other birds identified all find homes here. A specially landscaped garden with 30 varieties of hostas and naturalized Midwestern flowers are found throughout the 200 year old trees. Blue Heron B&B - Indianapolis, Indiana

Breakfast is served at your convenience with a full country USA/ Indiana breakfast or perhaps a French southern provincial meal. Linens, porcelains, and silver all add a touch of hospitality to the leisurely meals. Inquire about monthly luncheons for you and your family. Let us know if you need a special diet. Lively discussions are held of either Notre Dame football games, gardening, travel, and best books or movies. A large library of novels, travel, art history, and mysteries is available for your off-time.

Broad Ripple Village is 3/4 mile south on The Monon Walking Trail. The Trail also goes to downtown Indianapolis or north to Carmel for 15 miles.

The entrance is less than 2 blocks away.

In summer you can take a leisurely walk into Broadripple and have dinner at quaint cafes and renowned restaurants or popular brew pubs. Bikes, skates, and canoes are available for rental. Carmel and Zionsville are within 15 minutes.

The Indianapolis Art Center is less than 1/2 mile off the Monon Trail.

A 10 minute drive to Keystone Fashion Mall finds Indy's best shopping and a great range of low to medium priced restaurants.
