The three-story brick home sits on almost 3 landscaped acres in a residential neighborhood across from General Grant's home providing a quiet setting, yet close to town. Bernadine's Stillman Inn is conveniently located only 10 miles from Dubuque and the Mississippi River.

Join us and other guests in the Parlor for an award winning full breakfast where we can help you plan your day! The parlor is filled with antique figurines and a piano. Two covered porches with wicker furniture are available for your leisure. We offer two garden-filled courtyards complete with waterfall for the romantic sound of dancing water! The perfect spot to pop the question!

Bernadine's Stillman Inn is the only bed and breakfast in Galena with a restaurant located in the restored carriage house adjacent to the mansion. The facility is available for rent as a banquet room for meetings, weddings, receptions, reunions, parties and other events from 25 to 75 people. Catering services are available. We can arrange music, photographers, flowers and other services for you.

A Bit of History... In 1858 the Nelson Stillman estate encompassed 250 acres on Galena's eastside. Nelson Stillman was one of the wealthiest men in this lead mining, riverboat town, which flourished in the mid-1800's.
