An 1870 Victorian Mansion, in a secluded wooded area, has been made into a welcoming 5 bedroom bed and breakfast. Guests are provided privacy and comfort in their own rooms and are invited to use all the public rooms of the house. Guests are provided a continental breakfast every day.

Introduction

Our Tuscola, Illinois secluded country retreat is an 1870 Victorian mansion nestled in 11 acres of woods with Scattering Fork River running along the edge. After a walk, you may relax in the hot tub that's centered in the all-glass conservatory surrounded by tropical plants. There are several places on the wraparound porches to sit and chat or read a book. In the game room you will find a regulation-sized pool table, a color TV, reclining sofas and games to play. Evening snacks are served around 8 pm. In the morning a full breakfast is served in the formal dining room or cozy country kitchen.

At Simple pleasures we offer five theme bedrooms with queen-sized beds, each bedroom having its own bathroom. Rates include two persons. Specialty chocolates awaits you in your room upon arrival. Feel free to slip into a heavy terrycloth robe provided in each room. In the morning, awake to the smell of warm muffins, or breads, and hot drink of your choice outside of your door.

We are conveniently located to: Amish Country, The University of Illinois, Eastern Illinois University, The Krannert Center of Performing Art, the Assembly Hall, Shopping at the Tangier Outlet Mall, antique shops, skeet, trap, and sporting clay shooting and the Iron Horse Golf course.
