Welcome to the Shawnee Hill Bed and Breakfast

Located in the Shawnee National Forest, in the rolling hills of southern-most Illinois, it is a romantic get-a-way from the stress of city life. Enjoy hiking, bird watching, and fishing in stocked ponds. Explore a cave where, in 1766, Daniel Boone carved his name. Shop the antique shop in the 1860 barn and explore the blacksmith shops below the barn.

Experience the tranquility of country living with antique furnished guestrooms, all with private baths and private decks. Star gaze and sip local wines, from the Shawnee Wine Trail, in an outdoor hot tub with a cozy fire and candles.

Continental Breakfast - A tray that can be ready at any time with drinks (coffee, decaf, tea), homemade muffins or coffeecake, fresh fruit and juice. $70 + tax* $130 + tax*
Full Gourmet Breakfast - A full meal served on antique dishes. $85 + tax* $150 + tax*
No Breakfast $60 + tax*  
*Additional persons can be added for $5 per night and $5 per Continental Breakfast
or $10 per Full Gourmet Breakfast.

  • Victorian and Country Cottage rooms - Check In: 2:30 P.M.
  • Log Cabin - Check In: 4 P.M.
  • Cancellations will be accepted if cancelled 5 days prior to reserved date or if the room can be re-rented. Otherwise, you will be charged $55 per night for reserved nights.
  • No smoking in rooms.
  • Smoking will be allowed on outside decks or in your car.
  • No pets allowed.
