Charleston, Illinois Bed and Breakfast: The Osage Inn is an 1860's hewn log house that Diane and Gary Cole discovered in Missouri in 1998. It was scheduled to be demolished, but they found it just in the nick of time. They dismantled the cabin and brought it back to a lovely meadow and woods setting in central Illinois.

The Osage Inn welcomes children, but asks that they be well supervised. There is no television at the Inn, so it is an excellent time to talk, listen and play games with your child/children. The grounds are very spacious with lots of wonderful fields, meadows and woods to explore. Children age 8 and under stay free.
