Bed and Breakfasts Home | USA | Illinois  | Chrisman | The Old Brick Inn
Chrisman, Illinois Bed and Breakfast: This home, the Old Brick Inn, was built by Elisha W. Hartley between 1886 and 1889 for his wife, Mamie Chrisman, great niece of the town's founding father, Mathias Chrisman. Architects who have stayed at the Inn have supported the thought that it is a Prairie Foursquare, designed by the Chicago Architect Group which, included Frank Lloyd Wright. Large, oak-paneled foyer, art glass windows, staircase and abundance of oak artwork reflect the design of this period.
