"This log house portion of the structure is the original homestead to which my enterprising German forbearers added the "modern" 1902 farmhouse." Music of yesteryear flows from the player piano in the Gathering Room adjoining the Harvest Kitchen, featuring a wood-burning cookstove. |

A "country QUIET" night's sleep can be enjoyed in the bedrooms of the Farmstead...the Heritage Room, six Bunk House rooms and The Summer Cottage Guest Room, to the rear of the homestead, is available on a seasonal basis. These rooms feature private or shared baths, antique furnishings of the period, and...no extra charge for the crickets outside your window! Bunk House rooms include the John Deere Room; Farmall Room; Oliver Room; Ford Room; Case Room; and Ferguson Room. |
A hearty country breakfast will be served in the restored Log Room portion of the Homestead. Lunches or evening meals are available at the for an extra charge* per person with advance notice (see 'Guest Accommodations').
Restoration of 8 farm buildings (barn, shop, scaleshed, henhouse, machine shed, smoke house, feed house and "outhouse") is COMPLETED! Tours available. BARN HAYLOFT features ATTIC TREASURES GIFT SHOP and large rustic setting for group activities, meetings parties, etc.
