Hummingbird Hollow Bed and Breakfast, surrounded by the beauty of the Shawnee National Forest, is an ideal location for a romantic weekend. Or, plan your stay around some of the local events and make it a family vacation. With the onsite pond and backyard grill your stay can become a camping trip with all the comforts of home. Even make your business trips a pleasure with a good night's sleep away from the noise of town.

We offer two fully-furnished suites including television, air conditioning, two queen beds, private whirlpool bath, gas log fireplace, a fully-equipped kitchen, and an outdoor porch and patio with grill.

Guest Information

Reservations are required with a $50 (minimum) deposit required (secured by credit card).
Deposit is refundable if reservation is canceled at least 5 days prior to arrival or in the event the cabin can be re-rented.
There is a strict no smoking policy indoors.
Smoking is allowed outside and on the decks.

Directions:

From Interstate 57, Exit 18:
Take exit 18 off I-57 and turn west on Shawnee College Road to old route 51, turn right on 51, turn at the first road to the left cross over the Railroad tracks, go 4 miles to State Route 127 Cross over Rt 127 to Newell road.From Newell Road turn right on Old Elco Road, From Old Elco Road turn left on Mcdaniel School Road. Your about 1/2 mile away watch for the sign.

From Jonesboro, Illinois:
Take 127 south from Jonesboro Square through Mill Creek and Elco to Newell Road. Follow the direction in bold print above.

From Interstate 55, Exit 95:
Take exit 95 off I-55 to the Cape Bridge and cross into Illinois. Take Route 146 (6 miles) to McClure and turn right at the Shawnee School on Grapevine Trail Road. Drive 14 miles to Route 127 in Tamms then turn left on 127 (north) to Ullin Crossroads. Turn left on Newell Road. Follow the directions in bold above.
