History
Come stay at The Daisy Inn and experience a bit of history. Greenup is the oldest town in Cumberland County, established in 1834. Its roots as a Western pioneer settlement are still evident as you approach the main street with it's overhanging porches, a prominent feature in the architecture on Greenup's main street, where cattle drivers and horse races were commonplace. Abraham Lincoln and his father Thomas shared main street with the likes of Frank James, brother of Jesse James and Cole Younger.
