Learn to make applebutter from the pros who have been doing this for over a quarter of a century.
On Friday we peel the apples from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Breakfast and lunch provided) We use a few machines but for the most part we peel by hand and talk to our neighbors...It's a great chance to get to know other people.
On Saturday we get up early working two hour shifts for 6-8 a.m., 8-10 a.m. 10-12 p.m. 12-2 p.m. Let us know which shift you want to work!
Sometime between 12 noon and 2 p.m. we begin "canning" the applebutter...This is the most fun...
Friends of Maeystown helping for a period of time on Friday or Saturday may purchase a limited amount of applebutter the day it is made...Otherwise everyone must wait until the day of Oktoberfest, Sunday, October 12! Make Any Day a Day of Dine and Roses!
