Carthage is delightful little town located in Hancock County, in western Illinois. One of its great small town pleasures is staying at a Carthage bed and breakfast and taking part in the annual Strawberry Festival. You can wake up at Carthage Inn, then take your time sampling strawberry treats and maybe heading over to the Carthage Swimming Pool for a quick dip or the C Bowling Lanes for some fun.
