Rates include a full breakfast served at 8:30 AM in the large, light filled dining room. A continental breakfast will be made available upon request. Guests have access to the Butler's Pantry for tea, coffee, soft drinks, bottled water or juice. Guests are also welcome to use the Music Room and Parlor with fireplace. Enjoy the large side porch and courtyard, perfect for writing, reflecting, or just enjoying the weather. Parking is provided in the brick-paved parking court. For your safety, there is a backup electric generator, a fire sprinkler system and alarm system connected directly to the fire station. |
| Barrington House is located approximately 35 miles Northwest of Chicago near the center of the village of Barrington, where you will find shopping, antiques, and day spas. The Inn is located in the center of the Barrington Historical District, one of the largest collections of historical homes in the state of Illinois. Three day spas are within easy walking distance, and the Metra train station to Chicago and other Northwest suburbs is just a few blocks walk. For nature lovers, Baker's Lake, Crabtree Nature Center, and Deer Grove Forest Preserve are in easy driving distance for nature walks. |
