B&Bs are interesting places. One attractive feature is a gift shop. The Arcola Flower Patch gift shop changes every season and presents visitors with a wide variety of gifts--some artistic, some traditional, some unique and fresh, and some that reflect the B&B environment. One can find Easter items during the spring and ornament-laden evegreen trees during Christmas. In between there is an outcropping of pumpkins and many organge things during the fall. But almost all of the time one can find interesting, hand-made greeting cards, fine china tea pots, and specialty teas that are often served as part of the B&B English high tea experience. Guests are often surprised at how many different items are displayed and often discover they have overlooked a treasure the first time. |
