We invite you to relax at the River's Bend Bed and Breakfast. Our Greek revival house, built in 1902, was renovated with you in mind. Classic simplicity with comfortable elegance. A sense of history greets you as you enter the spacious home. Enjoy the many antiques throughout the house. Step into the columned foyer of the Victorian era home. Feel the hospitality of a gentler age. Check in late afternoon and have a welcome beverage and snack. Relax in the parlor or on the 2nd story porch overlooking the Iowa River and Iowa Falls. Walk to shops, restaurants, renovated theater, old swinging bridge, or the Historical Societies house/museum. Canoe the Iowa River. Experience massage therapy. Cruise the Iowa River on the Scenic City Empress (Seasonal). Walk the trails of Calkins Nature Center. Enjoy a specialty drink at the Book Cellar & Coffee Attic coffee house. Take a buggy or sleigh ride at Grandpa's Farm (by reservation). View the extensive art collection in the renovated Carnegie Library. |

Enjoy dinner at one of the several fine restaurants in Iowa Falls - all within walking distance of River's Bend Bed and Breakfast. Return to your elegantly appointed room with private bath and cozy comforter, where a bedtime dessert awaits you. Begin the next day after a hearty breakfast filled with in-season fruits, freshly baked breads or muffins, a hot entree and plenty of steaming coffee.

This third floor yellow and periwinkle attic room is a cozy get-away with queen bed, window seat overlooking the Iowa River, and a dormer sitting area. The private bath has a two person whirlpool tub under a skylight and a separate shower. Honeymoon delight! |
A Laura Ashley print dominates the antique queen brass bed and oak furniture in this room. With a Murphy bed and queen sleep sofa in the adjoining library, it can convert to a suite to accommodate 4 adults. The private bath features a 2-person claw foot soaking tub with shower. |

This large, bright, rose and forest green room overlooks the Iowa River. The bay window area has 2 wing backed chairs for reading or conversation. There is a 4-poster queen rice bed and private bath with shower. |
Garden flowers make for a light and airy feel. This cozy room has an antique Queen iron bed and Boston rocker. The private bath with tub and shower is across the hall. Fluffy terry robes are provided. |
