The Orton House B&B in Glenwood is nestled in the foothills of the Missouri River. A National Scenic By-Way brings you through Glenwood from north to south and a four mile drive from Interstate 29 brings you here from the west. The Glenwood Exit is 15 miles south of the nation's crossroad of I-29 and I-80. A picturesque downtown square surrounds a court yard of trees and shrubs framing the Mills County Court House and renown clock tower.

Glenwood Lake Park, the pride of Glenwood, offers a beautiful picnic area surrounding a scenic Glenwood Lake. Amidst the pines, overlooking Glenwood Lake, is the Mills County Museum complex and the Davies Amphitheater. Glenwood is a virtual outdoor paradise for hunters and nature lovers alike.
