Boscobel, Wisconsin Bed and Breakfast: The Life O' Riley Farm is located on 160 acres approximately 6 miles south of Boscobel, in Southwest Wisconsin. Our Guesthouse is a schoolhouse built over 100 years ago. We raise our own meat and eggs and the schoolhouse kitchen is always stocked with a loaf of homemade bread.

Travel information about McGregor, Iowa

McGregor is located in northeast Iowa, bordering Wisconsin. McGregor hosts the free Winter Film Festival at Effigy Mounds National Monument where films and movies are shown every weekend on the hour, January through March. Stay at a lovely B&B after a afternoon show. In February The Annual Winter Triathlon kicks off. Area bars will hold a Euchre tournament on Friday night, followed by a parade on Saturday, followed by an unconventional triathlon of Turkey Bowling, Bed Races and Clothes relay. Amongst other festivities there will also be bar tournaments, benefit lunches and raffles. The McGregor Historical Museum at 254 Main Street is also a popular local attraction. The McGregor Public Library located at 334 Main Street is a good reference point to find other area attractions. Gamblers can get their fill at Lady Luck Casino. The Eagles Landing Winery is a perfect place to unwind before you retire to your McGregor bed and breakfast or inn.
