Dallas Center is located in Dallas County Iowa, near the center of the state, enjoy the small town feel by staying at a local bed and breakfast or inn. During the Last weekend in August, Dallas Center plans and executes a Fall Festival. In July and August, the town runs a farmers market every Friday from 4 to 7 PM. Dallas Center is home to a part of the Racoon River Valley Trail which is a favorite of Leaf Peepers during the Autumn months. It also has a roller skating rink during the summer months that can be used by local and tourist alike. Harvest Moon is a resturaunt that is known for its grilled salmon as well as its steak burgers. The Smokehouse is an old fashioned barn that has been re-tooled into a resturaunt. They specialize in smoked pork and beef.
